Word Lists

Would someone please explain what the difference is between "My word list", "Active Words", and "Words in the Loop"?

Also when I work with the 'loop' flashcards the 'shown' category always says "Shown: 0 (Total: 477)". What does it mean Shown = 0?

Finally, what is an "Active word"? How is that different from a word that is in the loop? When I go through the "loop" exercise, the number of active words seems to increase even though I am "blocking" many of the words that pop up in the exercise.

I have read the Help section, but it is not clear on any of this.
Thanks for any advice.

Words in the loop are the words from the active words shown to you at the moment. Basically a subset of the active words. Shown zero means that this particular flashcard has only been shown zero times before.

They increase because you are in auto-mode where new words are added automatically.
